What is the EL clamp meter I have seen you using?

We are in the market for some test equipment here and I'm about to request a clamp meter and an earth leakage clamp meter.

I have seen some of you using an EL clamp meter with wrap-around tails in place of the usual firm polo clamp. What is it and is it accurate? I rather like the look of that for use in confined spaces. Also note that it is not as forgiving as the traditional clamp in terms of conductors that are not passing through the centre of the hole at perfect right angles. It depends what you need, errors of some % are possible from a scrunched geometry, but once in place if you don't then move it you will still correctly register small changes, even though the absolute reading may be slightly adrift.. Note that this is because of the air core not causing a flux containment, as you would see with an iron core, and for the same reason, it is possible for large currents outside the loop but very close may also cause a reading.
